Concept phase
The Christmas greeting video was planned and developed by myself. The goal was to create a calm and cozy atmosphere that reflects a simple Christmas mood. The focus was on visuals and details rather than on a complex storyline.
From the beginning, the intention was to keep the concept straightforward and authentic.
Video recordings
The recordings were done together with a trainee from the apprenticeship year below mine. For the set, we used Christmas decorations available in the office and created a small festive setup in the meeting room.
The video was shot with a Nikon Z6, and the audio was recorded using a Rode microphone. The setup was kept simple to allow an efficient and focused shooting process.
Video editing
The editing was done independently. I first reviewed the footage and created a rough cut to define the structure and pacing. After that, I refined the cut and worked on color grading to achieve a warm and cohesive look.
Animations were added where needed to support the visuals, with the main focus remaining on conveying a cozy Christmas atmosphere.
